The thing about award shows is, we don’t really sit for four plus hours to see who wins. We watch the red carpet so we can ooh and aah at the actresses’ glamorous dresses, luscious hair, and perfect makeup (and also our favorite leading men in suit and tie). Although I didn’t watch the SAG awards this past Sunday, I did stay on top of the celebrities who made a statement on the red carpet. My sure favorite was Claire Danes and her stand-out wine lips. She kept the rest of her makeup simple, pairing her dark pout with copper eye shadow and voluminous lashes, making this look worth recreating.
